Earlier this week my art teacher informed me of a local art competition dealing with the holocaust. The theme is  "Less that perfect: the many people persecuted by the Nazi party" and I have a few ideas in my brain. All this week I've been working on thumbnail sketches and I'll definitely be done with that this weekend. The next step is figuring out what medium to do it in. I was thinking inks and/or oil pastels. Seeing as I have minimal experience in painting, it probably would be a bad idea for my first ever real painting to be for a competition, eh?

First place gets $1000 and a set of books about the holocaust for their school which is pretty cool.

I'll update with progress as it comes about.

In other news I get to do the second phase of cat dissection in Human Physiology (A couple weeks ago I skinned the cat as part of the tissues unit) on Teusday. This time it's for the muscular system.
